This striking placemat features detail from our Abstract pattern, originally a collage from the Scrap series by Dutch artist Pietertje van Splunter. Both beautiful and useful, it’s made from sustainable eucalyptus board with a heat-resistant melamine coating to protect wooden tabletops.
Van Splunter’s intricate technique involves painting individual elements of a design before pasting them together.
